During your visit we wish to make your experience as safe as possible so please read this information and advice.
If you have had or have any covid-19 symptoms prior to your visit, please contact the practice and your appointment will be rescheduled.
Please do not enter the practice unless you have an appointment in order to maintain social distancing(2m). If you wish any advice, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
If you have received a medical history questionnaire with your reminder letter, please would you fill it in and bring it with you to your appointment.
Please don’t bring anyone else into the practice with you unless it is necessary. Exceptions include a parent/guardian of children under 18 years old or a carer.
Please bring as little belongings with you as possible to reduce the risk of any contamination and you will be asked to place your belongings in a sealable container once you enter the surgery.
To help maintain social distancing (2m) within the practice we will ask you to please call us once you have arrived in Caernarfon. The receptionist will log your arrival and contact you back once it is possible for you to enter the practice. If you are arriving by public transport and the weather conditions are bad, please inform the receptionist for further advice.
A screen has been installed at reception and please try to maintain social distancing (2m) and avoid touching the screen.
On arrival you must clean your hands with the antibacterial gel provided, which will be available at the reception area on your right.
A mask will be provided at reception which you will be required to wear unless you have your own.
You will be asked a few questions to check for covid-19 symptoms and we will take your temperature using our non-contact thermometer. If your temperature is too high your appointment will be rescheduled.
All appointments have been adjusted at different times and intervals to help maintain social distancing (2m).
All staff will be wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during your visit to ensure your safety.
The toilet will only be available for emergencies to help maintain minimal infection. Please ask the receptionist if needed.
To help keep you safe and reduce the risk of infection we will ask you to pay by card instead of cash whenever possible. If paying by cash, please place the cash in a clear see through bag and if possible, place in the correct amount.
If within the 14 days of your appointment you develop any symptoms of possible covid-19 such as a high temperature a new or continuous cough, or a loss of small or taste you should contact the practice so we can follow the correct and appropriate self-isolation advice.
Please note that some treatments will be temporary as the government has advised. This will be regularly reviewed by the practice and the government guidelines.
All these measures are in place to help to keep our patients and staff safe.
